We’re back again! After seven wonderful years of celebration, we invite you once more to join the 8th Danga Bhasa and Chadakhai Celebration — a vibrant day of tradition, togetherness, and Odia pride.

About the Celebration
Kartika Purnima, also known as Boita Bandana or Danga Bhasa, connects every Odia to our glorious maritime past — when our ancestors set sail in magnificent boats (Boitas) to faraway lands such as Java, Sumatra, Bali, Indonesia, and Malaysia for trade and cultural exchange.
This festival honors that spirit of exploration, unity, and pride, celebrating Odisha’s role in connecting civilizations across seas.
What to Expect This Year
After last year’s grand success in Hoofddorp — with soulful Odissi performances, bhajans, cultural shows by children, and painting and traditional dress competitions — we’re back to make this year’s celebration in Amstelveen even more exciting!

Event FAQs
Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel a ticket and receive a refund. Ticket transfers are possible. If we are not able to host because of any unavoidable circumstances, then we’ll refund after mandatory transaction charges .
Unfortunately no. The Venue can only accommodate limited number of people and that's why you have to buy tickets in advance. In addition we need the names and details of every person registered for better planning and coordination.
We have taken enough care to keep children engaged. However, the responsibility will still be with parents to keep an eye on their child(ren).
