We are pleased to invite you all to the grand celebration of Jagannath Ratha Jatra ( the Festival of Chariots ) in the Netherlands for 3rd year in a row.
Date: 29th June 2025 (Sunday)

Ratha Jatra is a divine festival steeped in tradition and spirituality, marking the annual journey of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra from the Jagannath Temple to the Gundicha Temple. It is a time of immense joy, devotion, and unity as we come together to witness the majestic chariot procession and seek the blessings of the Lord.
Our celebration will feature colourful chariots adorned with flowers, melodious bhajans, vibrant cultural performances, and delicious prasadam. It’s a momentous occasion to immerse ourselves in the divine atmosphere and experience the divine presence of Lord Jagannath.
We wholeheartedly invite you and your family to join us in this auspicious celebration, to offer our prayers, and to partake in the festivities that bring us closer to our roots and our faith.
Important Information :
This year we will arrange the food festival which holds many cultural and traditional significances. So the ticket price only includes the small portion of “Prasad / Prasadam” and does not include the complementary food (lunch menu).
At the same time you get a great opportunity to taste traditional dishes across different food stalls .
PS : You need to pay directly at the food stalls for your choice of food. Check the FAQ for more details.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel a ticket and receive a refund. Ticket transfers are possible. If we are not able to host because of any unavoidable circumstances, then we’ll refund the amount after a very minimal transaction fee.
There will be separate food stalls from differenet Indian caterers . You can enjoy the delicious food from various flavours .
You need to purchase your food at the respective food stalls and pay them directly .
Please keep in mind there might be some caterers who expect payment by cash .
Unfortunately no. The Venue can only accommodate limited number of people and that's why you have to buy tickets in advance. In addition we need the names and details of every person registered for better planning and coordination.
Dress the way you like! Plenty of pictures would be clicked, so wear your best smile . Also, as this is a Ratha Jatra celebration, so come in your best traditional attire !!
We do not have any kids engagement activity during this event .
So , we expect parents will take care of their child(ren).
